Warranty & Return Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

Inspect Your Machine Immediately

Customers should inspect the machine and its packaging immediately upon delivery.

If you notice visible damage, missing components, or signs that the machine may be defective, do not operate or use the machine.

Contact Geotech as soon as possible.

Machine Arrives Damaged or Defective

If a machine arrives damaged or defective before the customer has used it, Geotech will review the reported issue.

The customer should provide, where requested:

  • Photographs of the machine;
  • Photographs of the packaging;
  • Video showing the issue;
  • Serial number;
  • Delivery documentation;
  • Description of the problem;
  • Other information reasonably required for assessment.

This information allows Geotech to determine the nature and cause of the problem and the appropriate solution.

DO Not Use A Damaged Machine

If the machine appears damaged or defective when received, the customer must not:

  • Operate the machine;
  • Turn the machine on;
  • Attempt to repair it;
  • Disassemble it;
  • Modify it;
  • Replace components without authorization.

Using or modifying a machine after discovering a potential delivery defect may make it more difficult to determine the original condition of the machine and may affect the remedies available, subject to applicable law.

Repair or Replacement

Where a defect or delivery damage is confirmed, Geotech may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Repair the machine;
  • Repair or replace defective components;
  • Provide replacement parts;
  • Replace the machine with the same model;
  • Replace the machine with an equivalent model where appropriate and available;
  • Provide another remedy required by applicable law.

The appropriate solution will depend on the nature of the problem, availability of parts or replacement equipment, manufacturer's requirements, and applicable law.

No Cash Refund for a Machine That Arrives Damaged

Geotech does not normally issue a cash refund solely because a machine arrives damaged or defective.

Where a machine is confirmed to have been damaged or defective before use, Geotech's normal solution is to repair the machine or replace the machine/components, where possible and appropriate.

The customer should therefore contact Geotech immediately rather than operating the machine.

This provision does not exclude or restrict any mandatory refund, replacement, repair, cancellation, or other rights that may apply under Georgian law.

Damage Caused After Delivery

Damage caused after delivery may not qualify for free repair or replacement where the damage resulted from:

  • Improper use;
  • Incorrect installation;
  • Unauthorized modification;
  • Physical damage;
  • Incorrect electrical connection;
  • Failure to follow safety instructions;
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions;
  • Improper maintenance;
  • Negligence;
  • Use of unsuitable materials;
  • Operating the machine outside its intended specifications.

This is subject to applicable warranty terms and mandatory legal rights.

Manufacturer Warranty

Some products may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty conditions may different depending on the manufacturer and machine.

The applicable warranty period and coverage will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty documentation, or manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, warranty coverage may not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Consumable components;
  • Damage caused by misuse;
  • Damage caused by accidents;
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications;
  • Improper installation;
  • Incorrect electrical supply;

 Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

This Policy explains how Geotech Group LLC  handles delivery, collection, transportation, and related services for machines, equipment, accessories, spare parts, and other products.

Delivery Options

Geotech offers several delivery and collection options depending on the machine, customer location, and requirements.

 Option 1 — Delivery to the Customer

Geotech can deliver the purchased machine or equipment directly to the customer's location, including a private address, company, workshop, factory, or another agreed location within Georgia.

Delivery arrangements, costs, and estimated timing will be confirmed before delivery.

Option 2 — Customer Collection From Geotech

Customers may collect their machine directly from the Geotech location after the machine has been prepared.

The customer may come to our site, inspect and collect the equipment, and take it to their own location. The customer is responsible for suitable transportation unless transportation has been separately agreed with Geotech.

Depending on the machine, Geotech may provide reasonable assistance with loading where possible.

Option 3 — Delivery or Service Anywhere in Georgia

Geotech can travel to customers in different cities and regions throughout Georgia for delivery, collection, installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, or other agreed machine-related services.

The cost depends on the individual request and may include:

  • Distance from the Geotech location;
  • Customer's city or region;
  • Type, size, and number of machines;
  • Transportation requirements;
  • Number of days Geotech personnel need to remain at the location;
  • Installation, commissioning, or training requirements;
  • Accommodation and necessary travel expenses;
  • Special transportation or lifting requirements.

The final cost will be discussed and agreed with the customer before the service or trip is arranged.

Delivery Costs

Delivery and transportation costs are not necessarily the same for every order. They may depend on the destination, distance, machine type and weight, transportation method, installation requirements, and additional services.

Applicable charges will be included in the quotation or separately agreed with the customer.

Installation and Commissioning

Where installation or commissioning is included, Geotech may send personnel to the customer's location.

The customer must ensure suitable access, working space, electrical supply, ventilation where required, and appropriate installation conditions.

If the location is not ready or suitable, additional travel, accommodation, or service costs may apply where reasonably incurred and agreed or permitted under the applicable agreement.

Inspection Upon Delivery or Collection

Customers should inspect the machine and packaging as soon as reasonably possible after receiving or collecting the equipment.

If the machine appears damaged, defective, or incomplete:

DO NOT USE OR OPERATE THE MACHINE.

Contact Geotech immediately and, where requested, provide photographs or videos of the packaging, machine, damage, damaged components, and serial number.

Please refer to our Warranty & Return Policy for damaged or defective machines.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed in writing.

Delays may result from product availability, manufacturer or supplier delays, transportation, customs, weather, public holidays, road conditions, government restrictions, or other unexpected circumstances.

Geotech will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of significant delays.

Large and Industrial Machines

Some machines require specialized transportation or handling because of their size, weight, or technical characteristics.

Additional equipment or services may include special transportation, forklifts, cranes, lifting equipment, or additional personnel. Any additional requirements and costs will be discussed before delivery whenever reasonably possible.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing an accurate delivery address and contact person;
  • Ensuring suitable access;
  • Preparing the installation area where applicable;
  • Ensuring suitable electrical and other infrastructure;
  • Informing Geotech of access restrictions;
  • Ensuring customer-arranged transportation is suitable for the machine.

Failed Delivery or Visit

If delivery, installation, collection, or service cannot be completed because the customer provided incorrect information, failed to provide access, failed to prepare the location, was unavailable, or created unsafe conditions, additional transportation, travel, accommodation, or service costs may apply where reasonably incurred and permitted by the applicable agreement.

International Shipments

For international deliveries, additional terms may apply regarding customs, import duties, taxes, transportation, insurance, documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer may be responsible for applicable destination-country duties, taxes, customs charges, permits, and other import requirements.

Delivery Confirmation

Depending on the delivery method, the customer may be required to sign a delivery document, confirm receipt, or provide another form of delivery confirmation.

Customers must:

  • Inspect equipment upon delivery;
  • Report visible damage promptly;
  • Stop using a damaged machine;
  • Follow operating instructions;
  • Follow safety requirements;
  • Keep relevant purchase and warranty documentation.
