Warranty & Return Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

Inspect Your Machine Immediately

Customers should inspect the machine and its packaging immediately upon delivery.

If you notice visible damage, missing components, or signs that the machine may be defective, do not operate or use the machine.

Contact Geotech as soon as possible.

Machine Arrives Damaged or Defective

If a machine arrives damaged or defective before the customer has used it, Geotech will review the reported issue.

The customer should provide, where requested:

  • Photographs of the machine;
  • Photographs of the packaging;
  • Video showing the issue;
  • Serial number;
  • Delivery documentation;
  • Description of the problem;
  • Other information reasonably required for assessment.

This information allows Geotech to determine the nature and cause of the problem and the appropriate solution.

DO Not Use A Damaged Machine

If the machine appears damaged or defective when received, the customer must not:

  • Operate the machine;
  • Turn the machine on;
  • Attempt to repair it;
  • Disassemble it;
  • Modify it;
  • Replace components without authorization.

Using or modifying a machine after discovering a potential delivery defect may make it more difficult to determine the original condition of the machine and may affect the remedies available, subject to applicable law.

Repair or Replacement

Where a defect or delivery damage is confirmed, Geotech may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Repair the machine;
  • Repair or replace defective components;
  • Provide replacement parts;
  • Replace the machine with the same model;
  • Replace the machine with an equivalent model where appropriate and available;
  • Provide another remedy required by applicable law.

The appropriate solution will depend on the nature of the problem, availability of parts or replacement equipment, manufacturer's requirements, and applicable law.

No Cash Refund for a Machine That Arrives Damaged

Geotech does not normally issue a cash refund solely because a machine arrives damaged or defective.

Where a machine is confirmed to have been damaged or defective before use, Geotech's normal solution is to repair the machine or replace the machine/components, where possible and appropriate.

The customer should therefore contact Geotech immediately rather than operating the machine.

This provision does not exclude or restrict any mandatory refund, replacement, repair, cancellation, or other rights that may apply under Georgian law.

Damage Caused After Delivery

Damage caused after delivery may not qualify for free repair or replacement where the damage resulted from:

  • Improper use;
  • Incorrect installation;
  • Unauthorized modification;
  • Physical damage;
  • Incorrect electrical connection;
  • Failure to follow safety instructions;
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions;
  • Improper maintenance;
  • Negligence;
  • Use of unsuitable materials;
  • Operating the machine outside its intended specifications.

This is subject to applicable warranty terms and mandatory legal rights.

Manufacturer Warranty

Some products may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty conditions may different depending on the manufacturer and machine.

The applicable warranty period and coverage will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty documentation, or manufacturer's warranty.
